Devos @ Berean is a daily, five-minute devotional podcast from Berean Baptist Church in San Tan Valley, Arizona—created to help our church family develop a steady rhythm of Bible reading and prayer.
Each day, Pastor George walks through our read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year plan, identifies the day’s Scripture passages, highlights one truth or insight that stood out from the reading, and closes by praying God’s Word over you. These brief devotions are designed to be simple, Scripture-centered, and encouraging—whether you’re listening first thing in the morning, on your commute, or before bed.
Our prayer is that Devos @ Berean helps you stay rooted in God’s Word, grow in daily prayer, and walk faithfully with Christ—one day at a time.
Jeremiah 25 announces God's judgment on Judah for refusing to listen to His Word. Jeremiah 35 contrasts the faithful obedience of the Rechabites with Judah's rebellion, while chapter 36 records King Jehoiakim cutting up and burning the scroll of God's Word. Chapter 45 reminds Baruch to trust God rather than seek greatness for himself. Psalm 133 celebrates the blessing of God's people dwelling together in unity. James 3 warns about the power of the tongue and calls believers to demonstrate true wisdom through a humble and godly life.
